This is me
Kain Gill is a Costume Designer and Sound Technician for theatre and film who is currently pursuing a degree in Theatre Design & Technology. Kain has worked on many productions during his time LSU, both educational and professional. He has worked as an assistant costume designer for The Mountaintop and Things with Feathers and wardrobe crew for The Seagull and Mr. Burns. He has served as the costume designer for the shows Plastic Drastic and Love/Sick and the short films The Great Gate and Fish Food. Kain has worked on the sound crew for countless shows and sound supervised a dance concert, physical theatre showcase, and film festival with one system.
For Kain, costume design is a way to reinforce character choices made by the director and the actors. Kain primarily uses color theory and silhouette to express character in his designs. Costume design can also expose the true nature of the characters.
